The project began with a clear goal. Create a brand identity that reflects the clarity, trust and experience Chanda Cycles has built since 1984. The previous look carried familiarity but lacked the structure and presence needed for where the business was heading.

The new identity needed to feel modern, confident and easy to use across every touchpoint while still respecting the heritage behind the name. The experience centre and merchandise plans added further weight to the need for a system that could scale without losing its character.

Approach

The direction was grounded in what makes Chanda Cycles distinct. Four decades of helping riders find the right fit. That sense of reliability shaped the design language. Clean geometry. Purposeful typography. A focused colour palette built for clarity.

The aim was to create a brand that feels considered but never complicated. A system that works comfortably in real settings from signage to social to apparel. The identity needed to carry enough presence to build recall while staying practical for a small team to use day to day.

Every decision centred on building something future ready. Strong enough for retail. Flexible enough for digital. Simple enough for merchandise and packaging. Confident without noise. Modern without losing the human spirit of the business.

Deliverables

The project delivered a complete visual identity built around the new Chanda Cycles brandmark, supported by a full logo suite that includes horizontal, stacked and icon led versions. A clear typography system was established using Geist for headings, communication and social content, supported by a refined colour palette anchored in black and turquoise with minimal secondary tones.

To help the team apply the brand consistently, social templates were created along with guidance for in store signage, business cards and an email signature. Real world applications were demonstrated across merchandise including jerseys, bidons, caps and accessories to show how the system behaves in use.

All elements were consolidated into a single set of brand guidelines to support both internal rollout and future growth across digital and physical environments.

The new identity gives Chanda Cycles a clear, unified and modern presence that reflects the quality of service they are known for. It honours the trust earned since 1984 while giving the brand a system that can grow across retail, digital and the expanding merchandise range.

The result is a brand that looks established and future focused with the structure needed to support everything from the experience centre to new product lines.
