Ponderosa Pines is the newest gravel race on the scene, ripping through the Ponderosa Campgrounds in Mount Crawford Forest, South Australia. The inaugural event doubles as the 2025 AusCycling Gravel National Championships, where riders will battle for glory (and a big ol’ iron skillet trophy).
The course is 100% off-road, packed with tough sectors like Tombstone (steep and nasty), High Noon (the highest point), and Cattle Drive (a dead-straight grind). It’s rough, relentless, and just a little bit ridiculous—exactly how a gravel race should be.

We created a bold and playful identity with a Wild West twist, using gritty type, vintage race graphics, and a color palette pulled straight from the dusty trails of Mount Crawford. It’s all over event signage, race kits, merch, and digital assets, giving the event a look as tough (and fun) as the race itself.
The whole thing leans into cowboy vibes. It’s a bit corny, sure, but in the best way. Whether you’re chasing the jersey or just rolling through the Ponderosa Pines Ramble, it’s all about enjoying the ride.
Giddy up.
